Where does your headache/neck pain come from?

Tension headaches are caused by muscle tension in the neck, shoulders, and head; muscle tension can result from awkward posture, social or psychological stress, or fatigue. Tension headaches typically begin in the morning or early afternoon and worsen as the day progresses. A constant, moderately severe pain is often felt above the eyes or at the back of the head. The pain may be accompanied by a feeling of pressure, as if a tight band were wrapped around the head. The pain can spread over the entire head, sometimes extending to the back of the neck and shoulders.
